To the south of the county is Sustrans' Peregrine Path running between Symonds Yat and Monmouth. Alternatively leaflets may be ordered free of charge from Sustrans, tel: 0845 113 0065.
In the Forest of Dean the Forestry
Commission trails are well signposted.
There is the 11 mile
Family Cycle Trail, and more details are available
at Pedalabikeaway's
web site where they also have details on hiring bikes at
their locations in the forest and more recently on the
Peregrine Path.

There are also downhill
and cross country trails from the Cannop Valley cycle
centre for those seeking a more challenging ride.
The Forest of Dean Cycle
Association also organise kids mountain bike races.
Other ride information is available at our tourist information
centres (TIC) including two
cider
routes in the county. They usually have copies of
the "Cycles and Spires: Easy cycle routes to historic churches"
leaflets which include rides around Leominster, Tenbury Wells,
and Cleobury Mortimer.

Forestry Commission also have a number of cycle trails
atHopton

Sallowvallets
near Cannop Valley in the Forest of Dean.
Rough Rides have some

Just over the border is the National Cycle Collection in the
Automobile Palace at Llandrindod Wells visit their web site at
http://www.cyclemuseum.org.uk/.
The museum has over 250 bicycles of all ages on display along
with lots of cycle related memorabilia. They welcome
school party visits or can organise visits out to schools with
a variety of machines. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays at the
moment, they hope to have the museum open 5 days a week
from May 2011.
